Headshot of Katelyn Martins, owner of Arrow Behavior Health

“Being able to work with all of you at Therapy Flow was incredibly helpful because it’s evident that you are all experts in this field… and the fact that you focus on mental health clinicians and therapy is that much more important.”

Client Overview

Arrow Behavioral Health is a Rhode Island-based mental health practice that started in 2021. Founder Katelyn Martins and her husband built the practice from the ground up, starting with their own clinical work and gradually growing into a multi-service group practice.

Today, Arrow includes 30 therapists, 6 nurse practitioners, and an intern program. The practice provides therapy, medication management, group therapy, and other supportive services, all with a strong focus on serving a wide range of needs within the mental health community.

By late 2025, Arrow had already grown substantially. But like many successful group practices, the next stage required more than momentum. It required better visibility, better systems, and better data.

The Challenge

Growth Without Data to Sustain It

Before working with Therapy Flow, Katelyn was carrying the weight that many practice owners know well: too many responsibilities, not enough operational clarity, and constant anxiety about whether client flow would keep pace with growth.

In the early years, she was doing everything herself: intake, clinical work, supervision, and business leadership, while also trying to figure out how to build systems that could actually scale.

A major turning point came after Katelyn attended Therapy Flow’s conference in Chicago in September 2025. There, she began thinking differently about the business side of growth, especially the role of data, ROI, inquiry volume, and booking flow.

As she started examining the numbers more closely, she realized something important: Arrow’s inquiry-to-booking process was relatively healthy, but the total number of inquiries still wasn’t where it needed to be.

That opened the door to a new question: How do you create more consistent growth without relying on instinct alone?

"I had a really hard time being able to delegate tasks and understand how to make systems more efficient. There was such a long time where I had so much anxiety around having enough clients. Are we going to be able to fill the caseload?" — Katelyn Martins, Founder, Arrow Behavioral Health

The Strategy

The Three-Part System Behind Arrow’s Growth

Therapy Flow partnered with Arrow Behavioral Health beginning in mid-September 2025, starting with SEO, CRM, and one Google Ads campaign for Rhode Island. Later, the team added a Massachusetts Google Ads campaign in March 2026 to support regional expansion.

While the engagement included multiple services, SEO became one of the clearest engines of momentum.

Step 1

Building SEO Visibility that Compounds

Therapy Flow supported Arrow with ongoing SEO work designed to increase search visibility, strengthen local relevance, and bring more qualified traffic to the site over time.

That work included:

  • publishing SEO-focused blog content each month
  • improving metadata and on-page content
  • making technical and content optimizations across the site
  • strengthening local relevance around Rhode Island markets like Warwick and Middletown
  • expanding keyword coverage around both branded and non-branded search terms

This gave Arrow more opportunities to be discovered not only by people already searching for the practice by name, but also by prospective clients searching for symptoms, services, and related mental health topics.

Step 2

Giving Arrow Visibility on What’s Working

At the same time, Therapy Flow helped Arrow replace a more limited intake setup with a CRM that could actually report on what was happening.

Before that, the team had a process for handling inquiries, but no real way to track performance or see trends clearly.

“The CRM has been huge… it has allowed me to be much better informed as a practice owner.”

That reporting clarity helped Katelyn connect marketing activity to real operational decisions, from intake flow to hiring readiness.

Step 3

Supporting Growth with a Complete Therapy Flow Marketing System

SEO was not working in isolation. Therapy Flow also supported Arrow’s broader growth through CRM infrastructure and Google Ads, helping the practice create a more complete acquisition system.

But what stands out in this story is how SEO gave Arrow durable momentum: more visibility, more high-intent traffic, and more ways for prospective clients to discover the practice through both branded and educational content.

The Results

80% More Search Visibility. 4x More Clients.

Over the following months, Arrow Behavioral Health saw meaningful SEO growth, alongside broader gains in inquiry volume, client wins, and decision-making clarity.

Search Visibility and Traffic Growth

In the 3-month period from Dec 17, 2025 to Mar 17, 2026, compared to the prior 3-month period, Arrow’s site showed strong SEO momentum:

  • 361,508 impressions in search (+80.5%)
  • 2,654 organic clicks (+41.1%)
  • Average ranking position of 5.9, reflecting improved keyword visibility
  • 4,554 sessions from organic + direct traffic (+11.5%)
  • 2,710 users from organic + direct traffic (+24.5%)
  • 108 pages appearing in search results, a 6% increase over the prior period

The site also showed strong quality signals, including a 95% overall content/site health score, no open content issues, and strong coverage of Rhode Island location terms across key pages.

Page 1 Rankings and High-Intent Search Performance

Arrow’s SEO gains were not just about traffic volume. They also reflected stronger rankings for valuable keywords.

During the same reporting period:

  • the branded keyword “arrow behavioral health” generated 11,966 impressions and 474 clicks
  • educational and symptom-related keywords like “can stress cause vertigo” and “can anxiety cause dizziness” ranked in the Top 3 and brought in additional organic traffic

Top-performing pages included the homepage, team page, contact page, services page, and blog content related to anxiety, dizziness, and vertigo — showing that both branded and content-led SEO were contributing to visibility.

Broader Growth in Client Volume

At the same time, Arrow’s broader growth picture strengthened considerably.

Since beginning work with Therapy Flow in September 2025, monthly clients won in the CRM reached:

  • 24 in October 2025
  • 23 in November 2025
  • 98 in December 2025
  • 94 in January 2026
  • 103 in February 2026

That pattern reflects a practice gaining traction not just in traffic, but in its ability to turn growth into real client volume.

Seeing the Practice Clearly

A Paved Pathway to a Stronger Brand

For Katelyn, the most important change was not just “more traffic” or even “more clients.” It was moving from growth-by-instinct to growth with visibility. Before, many of her decisions were based on feel.

“Before… my answer was just, ‘I just know,’ but there was no data behind that.”

Now, she can see more clearly what is happening in the practice, what is improving, and when the business is ready for its next move.

“It allows me to not only know what’s happening now, but also be able to future orient myself.”

SEO plays an important role in that bigger story. It is helping Arrow build visibility that compounds over time, not just short-term leads, but a stronger digital presence, broader keyword reach, and a more scalable path to growth.
